RAIPUR: A 15-year-old girl was chased and beaten to death by a 19-year-old who had a score to settle with her father in Chhattisgarh’s Kabirdham district Tuesday. Vicky was waiting for the girl at her school, said police. As she stepped out, he intercepted her and passed lewd comments, to which she objected. When he picked up a stick and swung at her, she started running.She ran for about 1km, calling for help, but no one saved her. Vicky caught up with her and hit her on the head. She collapsed, severely injured, as he fled. She was taken to hospital but died during treatment. Vicky was rounded up a few hours later. He told police he got into a fight with the girl’s father and was looking for an opportunity to take revenge.
