Patriotic Spirit Resonates at Bharat Vandan Kala Mahotsav 2026

Dr. Suniel Parashar Calls for Providing Talented Children and Youth with Platforms and Opportunities to Excel

New Delhi: The national-level “Bharat Vandan Kala Mahotsav 2026”, organized by the Indian Culture Foundation to mark,  great enthusiasm at Lajpat Bhawan, New Delhi. Artists and students from different parts of the country presented vibrant performances in music, dance and patriotic themes, bringing the spirit of Indian art, culture and nationalism alive on stage.

Speaking on the occasion, Manvi Sharma, Director of the Indian Culture Foundation, said that the objective of the Bharat Vandan Kala Mahotsav was not merely to organize a cultural programme, but to bring talented artists from across the country onto a common platform and connect the younger generation with India’s rich artistic and cultural heritage. She emphasized that children possess immense talent and what they need is the right platform, guidance and encouragement to move forward.

The programme was graced by Creative Film Director Dr. Suniel Parashar as the Chief Guest, while Mohit Madhav attended as the Guest of Honour. On the occasion, Mohit Madhav, Manvi Sharma and Anushka Sharma felicitated Dr. Suniel Parashar in recognition of his contribution to the promotion of art, culture and creative talent.

The dignitaries appreciated the impressive performances by the participating artists and stressed the importance of preserving and promoting Indian art and cultural traditions among the younger generation.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Suniel Parashar called upon children and youth to remain connected with India’s rich cultural heritage and take its traditions forward. He said that Indian culture is not only our identity but also an invaluable legacy passed down through generations. He highlighted the importance of encouraging young talent in music, dance, acting and other creative disciplines.

Dr. Parashar said that talent should not remain confined to the stage and that talented artists must receive meaningful opportunities to progress in their respective fields. He assured the gathering that every possible effort would be made to provide talented children and youth with suitable platforms in music, dance, acting, arts and other creative fields.

He further stated that talented performers would be considered for opportunities in his upcoming short films and creative film projects, enabling young artists to explore opportunities in the film and media industry and take their talent to a wider audience.

The festival featured classical dance, semi-classical performances, folk dances, music and patriotic presentations, which captivated the audience. Artists from different states showcased India’s rich cultural diversity and beautifully reflected the spirit of “Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat.”

During the programme, outstanding artists and participants were felicitated for their performances. Chief Guest Dr. Suniel Parashar presented trophies to all the participants, encouraging them to continue pursuing their artistic talents and wishing them a bright and successful future.

The Bharat Vandan Kala Mahotsav concluded on a positive note, celebrating India’s cultural diversity, patriotic spirit and the immense creative potential of its younger generation.
